Robyn and Matt married at one of our all time favourite venues, The BarnYard in Upchurch – conveniently just down the road from our base!

We arrived and headed straight to the beautiful prep room on site where the girls hair and makeup were underway. It was so lovely to see familiar faces in the Hair and Makeups teams – it was clearly going to be an dream team kind of a day. This was confirmed when we caught up with the Events Team at BarnYard who are so skilled at ensuring every wedding day at The BarnYard runs smoothly..

Robyn looked gorgeous in her dress and as news spread of the Groom and Groomsmen’s arrival, we headed to meet them. The sun was blazing so sunglasses were put to good use by the boys and jackets were on and off to try to keep as cool as possible.

The couple married outdoors in the stunning Gazebo with blue skies above and after spent time with Family and friends in the beautiful grounds of The BarnYard. Everyone was so welcoming and the day was full of laughter, as well as a few tears during some very heartfelt speeches.

Now to the food! One of the many reasons I love The BarnYard so much is the food – its a huge part of a wedding both financially and for the way a wedding is remembered by all who attend. Every single meal I have had a The BarnYard over the years has made my tastebuds sing and my tummy full, as it did on Robyn and Matts big day.

As it had been so very hot during the day, Robyn and Matt were relieved to explore The Orchard area of the venue later on in the evening, and they (and me!) popped up the hill a little to see the venue in all of its glory. Once I had captured some gorgeous shots of them together, it was lovely to see them stay alone a while and just take it all in.
