One Warwick Park
When Howard and Laura asked us to be a part of their big day back at the end of July, we were excited to find out their venue was One Warwick Park in the beautiful Tunbridge Wells (which has since been awarded Kent Wedding Awards Boutique Wedding Venue of The Year – well deserved all at One Warwick Park!!)
Our regular venues tend to have a quite rural feel, so it was so nice to be able to explore a more urban setting in the middle of the town for a change.
Laura and her girls had their prep in The Townhouse conveniently adjoining One Warwick Park Hotel itself, which meant that we were able to flit between capturing bridal prep whilst also keeping a look out and being around for the boy’s arrival. The boys joined us at the Pantiles for a few photos, which looked great in the urban setting.
Howard was in fine form and Laura as giggly as ever as they drew nearer to meeting again at the end of the aisle.
The ceremony was beautiful and after Laura and Howard mingled on the terrace we looked at the sky and suggested that we really should ask all guests to make their way to the front of the venue for a big group shot before the heavens opened – thankfully we moved quickly and after a successful group shot the guests made their way back inside narrowly avoiding the torrential rain that followed…. And it went on for hours and hours!!
Thankfully Laura and Howard were brave, and we ventured into the streets around One Warwick Park and over to the historic Pantiles area of Tunbridge Wells under the cover of a big brollie and we went for it!!
Again, the contrast of not only an urban setting but also the not ideal wedding weather made for a very different selection of shots, and we loved them!
Spending time with Laura, Howard and their guests was a true joy and one of the highlights of the day for us was the surprise singing waiters that Laura had organised for Howard and their guests. Now Howard works in theatre and it was amazing to see his reaction as the waiters and then everyone else broke into song and dance. Howard even ended up doing a solo performance which was stunning and prepared everyone for a fabulous night of dancing ahead.
We left them all to dance the night away after Howard and Laura took to the floor for their first dance.
Howard and Laura, thank you so much for a memorable day – we loved every minute!!
