Rosie & Gareth

Rosie and Gareth’s wedding was something special; it’s definitely the first time we have seen so much dancing at a wedding! But it helps when the bride and her friends are in a dance company.

Rosie’s day started off at home with her family and bridesmaids. Her gorgeous dress was purchased from Chilham Bridal Boutique and altered by The Wedding Dress Surgeon to fit her dancer’s frame perfectly. Hair and make-up for the girls was expertly handled by Hello Hair and Karly Shead, enhancing the girls’ natural beauty even more.

We met up with Gareth and his groomsmen at the church for a few photos. The service was beautiful, and we were treated to the voices of the Ashford Choral Society during the ceremony, which added a very special touch. Justyna from Tina Derek Creative was on hand to video the event for the couple.

When we leave the church and head to the Orangery Maidstone, we usually start with some couples’ photos around the award-winning grounds, as we can’t start formal family photos until the guests are settled. We headed around the grounds to all our favourite spots to capture some gorgeous photos of our happy bride and groom. The photos in front of the white gazebo are particularly lovely. With Rosie being a dancer, we incorporated this into a few photos, with the sun backlighting her beautifully.

After family photos, drinks, and some amazing food by Easy-Dine Catering Company, it was time to head inside for the groom’s games, which were utterly hilarious and so much fun to watch, providing plenty of photographic opportunities.

As the evening approached, it was time for the cake cutting, which looked very tasty; this was created by Kate Brazier Cakes. The bride and groom’s first dance started with just the two of them, as expected, but grew to include the entire bridal party and groomsmen. It was amazing to watch, as you can see in the photos.
