Ever since we met Ellen & Jess, Duncan and I had looked forward to being part of their special day. It was one full of smiles, and laughter surrounded by friends and family.
It was wonderful to be back at Cooling Castle Barn – it is always a pleasure. The venues organisation was second to none as usual and all ran to time despite some very ‘changable’ (!) weather conditions.
Both Ellen and Jess got ready at Cooling so I was kept extremely busy running between the rooms to capture them both having hair and makeup as well as the final touches as they put on their beautiful gowns.
I especially love the new bridal prep suite, with plenty of natural light and neutral decor it really makes a great backdrop for lots of gorgeous prep shots.
The weather swung literally moment from moment between bright sun and torrential rain, but Ellen and Jess were happy to dodge the rain and we managed to get outside for all of their family groups and couple shots, even scooting out early evening between showers to get some shots by the famous Cooling sign, in the field nearby and with their son Hudson.
Duncan and I left the couple after first dance with happy smiles and memories of a wonderful day spent – we really are very privileged to be a part of special times like these!
Ellen and Jess (and Hudson), it was lovely to meet you and your families and Duncan and I wish you all the best in your lives together xx
