There is something undeniably magical about a classic English summer wedding, and Rhiannon and Oli’s June celebration at Eastwell Manor in Kent was nothing short of perfection. Nestled within the picturesque rolling countryside of the Garden of England, this historic Champneys estate provided a breathtaking backdrop of grand neo-Elizabethan architecture, manicured lawns, and romantic walled gardens.

As a husband-and-wife team at Louisa Dettmer Wedding Photography, capturing the effortless elegance, raw emotion, and joyful atmosphere of Rhiannon and Oli’s day was an absolute dream.

Morning Preparations & Bridal Elegance

The morning began with an atmosphere full of excited anticipation. Rhiannon got ready surrounded by her bridal party, with hair beautifully styled by DL Bridal and glowing, flawless bridal makeup applied by Stevie Rose Makeup.

When Rhiannon stepped into her bridal gown from The Wedding Shop Colchester, the room went silent—she looked utterly sensational. The timeless silhouette was completed with breathtaking, eco-conscious floral installations and bouquets curated by The Floral Hire.

Meanwhile, Oli and his groomsmen looked impeccably sharp in tailored suits from Slaters Menswear, ready for the vows ahead.

An Unforgettable Ceremony & Special Furry Guest

Eastwell Manor is renowned for its romantic ceremony spaces, and Rhiannon and Oli’s vows were filled with genuine laughter and tender moments.

One of the standout highlights of the day was having their four-legged best friend join the celebrations! Thanks to the fantastic team at Can’t Say I Do Without You, their dog was expertly chaperoned throughout the ceremony and drinks reception—allowing us to capture some truly heart-warming, candid family portraits without any stress on the couple.

Golden Hour Portraits in the Grounds of Eastwell Manor

Following the ceremony, guests mingled on the sun-drenched terrace with drinks and canapés while we slipped away with the newlyweds into the expansive grounds. Eastwell Manor offers endless opportunities for timeless wedding photography—from the sweeping driveway and dramatic stone arches to the blooming June rose gardens.

Working seamlessly alongside videographer TDH Media, we kept the couple portraits relaxed, romantic, and fun, letting Rhiannon and Oli soak in their first moments as husband and wife while capturing authentic, storytelling imagery.

The Reception & Evening Celebrations

The wedding breakfast room looked stunning, centred around an exquisite wedding cake crafted by Rebakers Cakes. After heartfelt and humorous speeches, the evening gave way to brilliant music, lively dancing, and non-stop celebration with their closest friends and family.

Rhiannon and Oli’s summer wedding at Eastwell Manor was a masterclass in romance, elegance, and fun. It was an honour for us to preserve every candid smile, happy tear, and unforgettable detail.
